Smilin' Pumpkin Event – Sunday, October 27, 2024 

The fun doesn't stop after the campout! Join us for the Prairielands Council's Smilin' Pumpkin Event, an exciting afternoon of outdoor games and activities designed for Cub Scouts and their families. Whether or not you attended the Pack 21 campout, this event is open to all!

Event Details:

• Date: Sunday, October 27, 2024

• Time: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

• Location: Camp Robert Drake, 9994 Camp Drake Road, Fairmount, IL

Who Can Attend:
This event is open to all Cub Scouts (grades K-5), their families, and friends. You do not need to attend the Pack 21 campout to join in on the Smilin' Pumpkin fun! Current Cub Scouts are encouraged to invite a friend to experience Scouting.

Activities Include:

• Launching water bottle rockets

• Archery on two ranges

• BB gun shooting

• Rock-skipping at the Salt Fork River

• Pedal cars for Cubs (Cubs on Wheels)

• Sports games, including a soccer challenge

• Hiking on scenic campsite trails

This event is perfect for Scouts who want to have fun outdoors and for families looking to experience the adventure of Scouting!

Registration:

• Cost: $10 for youth participants (ages 5-17); adults attend for free.

• Payment can be made on-site.
